Venture Hawkes Bay is Hawkes Bay’s Regional Development Agency.
As a business unit of the Hawkes Bay Regional Council we are governed by an independent advisory board comprising business leaders and local government representatives.
Funded by ratepayers our integrated organisation takes a leadership role in the sustainable regional development and growth of Hawkes Bay business and tourism.
Venture Hawkes Bay has three key platforms for growth that add value to our traditional regional functions as an Economic Development Agency and Regional Tourism Organisation.
The three platforms are Regional Promotion and Marketing, Innovation and Productivity and Investment and Planning.
We are creative, innovative and strategically responsive in our drive to make Hawkes Bay a world class place to visit, live, work and invest.
To do this we:
Attract investment to Hawkes Bay, to grow the region and secure our long term future.
Work with businesses, by helping them to become more productive and efficient.
Promote Hawkes Bay to the rest of New Zealand and the world as a great place to visit, live, work, and invest.
Support businesses to think and act in innovative ways to strengthen their futures and help them get support from central government in both funding and services.
